We only TATTOO, we do not do body piercings.
COVID-19 RULES –
We have taken steps to ensure the safety of our clients and artist that are in addition to our already strict cleaning regiments. These include limiting customer contact by staggering appointments and reducing the time clients are in the shop before and after there tattoo. We have also set up 5 true hepa air-purifiers with UV-C sanitizers. Rules going forward are going to look a lot like our rules at the start of the pandemic.
-If you or anyone around you is sick, even just a little, we need you to reschedule.
-No guests. To cut back on the number of people in the shop at once we are asking for you to come alone to your appointment.
-Please show up clean. (freshly showered, clean clothes and a clean/new face mask)
-As always you will need cash and your ID.
-Once you arrive give us a call from your car. We will bring you a clip board with paperwork to your car, and we will call you when we are ready for you to come inside.
-You will be asked to wear your face mask for the entirety of your appointment.
-We know this can be an inconvenience but we thank you your understanding. Those who do not comply with the above rules will not be welcomed in the shop at this time.
We want to remind you all that tattoos are a luxury and not a necessity. Even with our added rules, and regiments, the risk still remands of contracting Covid-19 as in any public space. If you or members of your immediate family are considered high risk, we hope that you will reschedule your appointment. To all of you that would still like to get tattooed and are financially secure in these crazy times… lets do it!!! Book your summer tattoo appointment today !
TATTOO ETIQUETTE – The Do’s and Dont’s
Make sure your clean! Not only is this important for the health of your tattoo, we also don’t want to smell you. If you’re not clean enough to get tattooed we may have send you home. None of us want that.
Bring your I.D. We need proof that you are over 18. Yes even if you have other tattoos, smoke butts or have crows feet for that matter.
Try to show up to your appointment on time or just a few mins early to fill out paper work.
punctuality is key. If you are going to be late or if you’re available early, give us a call.
It always helps to have your artist in the loop.
Don’t bring ya posse, pets, or extended family. One friend is fine…two if you must. We will let you keep the tattoo so grandma can see it later.
Pack a snack and a drink, and eat before you come. Some people can get lightheaded during a tattoo, this is usually do to low blood sugar levels. Something with some sugar, salt and protein tends to work well for most people.
Wear or bring clothes with easy access to the place the tattoo is going. We are not responsible for your blood and ink getting on your new white shirt. Wear something dark and or that you don’t care about.
CASH $$$$ we don’t take card, checks or trades.
Bring your ‘big boy pants’. This is an adult, forever procedure. Yes it will hurt a little but we don’t need to be dramatic.
No Drugs, no drunks. If you take any blood thinners (or aspirin), insulin, or pain management medication please speak with your artist ahead of time to be sure you will have no complications. We will ask you about pregnancy and nursing status, allergies, medications and other conditions you may have especially those relating to skin, your ability to endure the tattoo, and heal the tattoo effectively. Speaking to your artist about this a head of time will just help us prepare for you better.
Any questions about this or anything else please email (info@broadstreettattoo.com) or give us a call 508-279-2828.
The more heads up you can give us the better.
